We are releasing Battery Monitor
version 5.9 through the Mac App Store:
- Added new entry in the long-term status sheet, indicating the time when the operating system collected the shown data.
- Added support for upcoming changes expected in future versions of macOS.
- Fixed an issue where the maximum and nominal capacity percentage values could not be shown in the long-term status sheet when using specific combinations of macOS version and Macintosh models.
Battery Monitor is a powerful App to display the charge state of portable Macs in the Dock, to display internal battery information, to capture charge and discharge curves, to keep logs of the aging process of the battery, and to add notifications via Notification Center or speech output.
July 6, 2026:
We are releasing TinkerTool
version 11.7:
- Added new setting to change the degree of rounded corners in windows. The value can be set to match the defaults of previous generations of macOS. (Setting for macOS 26.4 or later only.)
- Added new setting to disable the floating Liquid Glass effect for sidebars in windows.
- Updated preliminary support for future versions of
macOS.
TinkerTool is an application that gives you access to additional preference settings Apple has built into macOS. This allows to activate hidden features in the operating system and in some of the applications delivered with the system.

The updates provide important bug fixes and security
updates.

Apple releases new software via macOS Software Update:
- Command Line Tools for Xcode 26.6 (Update Product ID: 140-17812)
The Command Line Tools enable UNIX-style development via Terminal by installing command line developer tools, as well as macOS SDK frameworks and headers. Many tools are included, such as the Apple LLVM compiler, linker, and Make. If you use Xcode, these tools are also embedded within the Xcode IDE.

Monitor version 6.6 through the Mac App Store:
- Added new setting to allow the use of warning colors for the main temperature display in the menu bar when the system encounters elevated readings.
- This version tries to avoid a rare crash situation that could occur when there are several rapid network configuration changes while the app is starting up.
- Minor internal improvements and modernizations.

We are releasing Autostarter
version 2.5 through the Mac App Store:
- The controls for pro settings now automatically adapt to known issues in the different versions of user interfaces for macOS Tahoe.
Autostarter is a small app that makes it possible to launch applications automatically during login without letting the applications show windows, even with macOS 13 Ventura or later.

Manager version 6.2:
- Added new feature to duplicate existing automount entries. This makes it easier to create several mounts with the same connection options.
- Added preliminary support for future versions of macOS.
NFS Manager is an application to control the NFS features built into macOS via a comfortable graphical user interface. The application uses Apple’s technologies like Bonjour or Open Directory to make management as easy as possible. When using directory services, NFS Manager can configure NFS features not only for a single computer but for a whole network of thousands of Macintosh systems, with a few mouse clicks only.

TinkerTool System 9 is a collection of system utility features helping you in performing advanced administration tasks on Apple Macintosh computers.

We are releasing TinkerTool
version 11.6:
- A new option was added to the setting to control the delay when showing a hidden Dock. In addition to deactivating the delay, the time can now be set to “very long“, which can help to avoid inadvertent Dock movement when switching between Spaces on multiple screens with a visible Dock.

version 4.4:
- The behavior of the CPU load slider was slightly changed to avoid a known defect in specific versions of macOS.
SystemLoad is a diagnostic application assisting you in the detection of cooling or power supply problems with Apple Macintosh computers. The tool can put a user-definable load onto one or more processors.

XProtect is part of the built-in antivirus software of macOS. The package does not appear in the Software Update section of System Preferences (or App Store in older versions of the operating system). macOS is updating the software automatically in the background if you have granted the system permission to download system data files and security-related files.
