  • Added new feature when creating ISO disk images from macOS installers: In addition to a disk-like layout optimized for startup of Virtual Machines hosted by macOS, it is now possible to enforce the explicit creation of a hybrid HFS+/UDF DVD layout which can achieve higher compatibility with general VM hosts.
  • To handle the known bug in macOS where the logging subsystem returns data for a time interval other than the one requested, TinkerTool System now shows a detailed hint which time to specify to actually get data.
  • If issues with the macOS data protection policy for TinkerTool System have been detected, the user interface will now indicate this more prominently.
  • The heuristics to determine the expected file sizes when downloading IPSW files from Apple has been updated.
  • The list of macOS services performing automatic cleanup of storage space has been updated.
  • The list of known macOS startup services has been updated.
  • The user interface clarifies some aspects when computing the size of APFS snapshots.
