Known Issues

Temperature sensors on Macs with M5 Pro, M5 Max, or A18 processors might not be supported correctly: If you are using one of the Macintosh systems announced in March 2026, collecting data about or from temperature sensors may not work. The support status is unknown. The application may show a corresponding warning message at startup, asking you whether you like to agree to submit anonymous data about the new computer model.

Workaround: When a significant number of Macintosh systems with M5 Pro, M5 Max, or A18 processors will be on the market, future versions of System Monitor Plus are planned to support them.

Support status for Macs with more than 2 TB flash memory is unknown: It cannot be guaranteed that all temperature sensors for Macs that have multiple flash memory units are shown with their correct identifications or are shown at all.

Workaround: If you have a Mac Studio / Mac Pro (2023) with more than 2 TB of flash memory, you can help us to complete our knowledge about the sensor equipment in these models. Please contact us for further details.
