Known Issues

Macs with M5 processors are not supported yet: If you are trying to use System Monitor Plus with the model series MacBook Pro (14-inch, M5), released on October 22, 2025, the features for monitoring temperature sensors will be very limited. Only a few sensors are shown.

Workaround: The temperature sensor equipment of such computers is significantly different from that of previous Macintosh models. New program code has to be developed. Support is planned to be added for the next version of System Monitor Plus. The release date is not known yet.

Support status for Macs with more than 2 TB flash memory is unknown: It cannot be guaranteed that all temperature sensors for Macs that have multiple flash memory units are shown with their correct identifications or are shown at all.

Workaround: If you have a Mac Studio / Mac Pro (2023) with more than 2 TB of flash memory, you can help us to complete our knowledge about the sensor equipment in these models. Please contact us for further details.
