Apple releases new software via macOS Software Update:
- Apple SafeView version 10.6 (Update Product ID: 082-33199)
- Fixed bug preventing SafeView from launching Gravity when trying to submit feedback
- General bug fixes
- Updated Bomgar infrastructure to AWS servers
- Anti-spam rules fully implemented
- Share Settings transitioning out of SafeView to Amphora
- Share Settings in SafeView will only be available to users not provisioned for Amphora
SafeView is an internal utility that macOS customers can use to share their screens via Internet with service representatives from Apple or AppleCare. It allows remote access for support purposes. This software is not available to the general public.
July 9, 2025:
We are releasing Autostarter
version 2.2 through the Mac App Store:
- This version adds support for Safe Mode during user login. If the shift key is held down while Autostarter is about to launch the configured applications, it will ignore its list of items and do nothing.
Autostarter is a small app that makes it possible to launch applications automatically during login without letting the applications show windows, even with macOS Ventura or later.

Developers who have upgraded a beta version of macOS 26
Tahoe to Developer Preview 3 or later (Build 25A5306g)
will also need to upgrade some of our applications due
to a critical change in the operating system. The
following programs have been re-released as build 250708
to become compatible with the latest beta versions:
If you don't upgrade to the current builds, the
affected applications will indicate that the operating
system is unsupported.

We are releasing System Monitor
Plus version 2.6:
- Added support for monitoring selected sensors of Mac Studio (M3 Ultra, 2025).
System Monitor Plus is a free add-on for System Monitor. After simply copying it to your computer, many additional features become available which are not permitted to be directly included in Apps from the Mac App Store.

Software Updater, version 1.91:
- Due to the unreliability of Spotlight in the latest versions of macOS, further checks have been added to detect specific technical defects in the operating system installation.
- Small internal optimizations.
If you use many of our software products on your Mac, it can become tedious to keep all of them up-to-date. Bresink Software Updater facilitates the maintenance of our applications considerably. At a glance you can see if all programs are at their latest versions. You will be notified about available updates and can decide to either trigger the update procedure for a single product or for all of them automatically.

We are releasing TinkerTool
version 10.5:
- Added new setting (for macOS Sequoia) to change the limit for the maximum number of suggested and recent applications shown in the Dock.
- Enhanced preliminary support for future versions of macOS.
- TinkerTool 10 is now fully supporting macOS 13 Ventura and macOS 14 Sonoma as well. This means the former TinkerTool 9 becomes obsolete and has been removed from distribution. Users of TinkerTool System 8 who integrated TinkerTool 9 in their system application must upgrade to TinkerTool System 8 version 8.99 at the same time to keep the integration intact.
TinkerTool is an application that gives you access to additional preference settings Apple has built into macOS. This allows to activate hidden features in the operating system and in some of the applications delivered with the system.

- Added support for the latest and future versions of macOS when creating macOS install media.
- When creating install media for virtual machines in the form of ISO files, lack of free storage space is now handled in advance.
- TinkerTool 10.5 has now become the minimum version when integrating TinkerTool into TinkerTool System 8.
- Many small optimizations.
- Fixed a problem that could occur when creating install media for Intel-based installation applications on Apple Silicon Macs if Rosetta had not been installed yet

We are releasing NFS
Manager version 5.97:
- NFS Manager can now be launched on specific pre-release versions of macOS. This should not be considered full official support, however.
- Several minor changes.
NFS Manager is an application to control the NFS features built into macOS via a comfortable graphical user interface. The application uses Apple’s technologies like Bonjour or Open Directory to make management as easy as possible. When using directory services, NFS Manager can configure NFS features not only for a single computer but for a whole network of thousands of Macintosh systems, with a few mouse clicks only.

June 17, 2025:
We are releasing TinkerTool System
9 version 9.7:
- Added preliminary support for future versions of macOS.
- Added new feature to save Time Machine logs to text files if it is possible to recreate a log retrospectively.
- When adding new entries to the table of volume options, the mostly used “no mount” option is now pre-activated by default.
- The list of Apple-provided startup jobs has been updated to reflect the situation in the latest versions of macOS Sequoia.
- The user guidance when automatically relaunching the application after working with a maintenance feature that required a logout or restart was improved. The correct subsection of a pane now always opens automatically, no matter what view preferences are set.
- Outdated components supporting a user reset of Launch Services have been permanently removed. Apple does not plan to reinstate this feature.
- A section in the documentation was added, explaining how to enforce a rebuild of the mail index even if one or more corrupt messages have been found.
- Fixed an issue with the date display of the status of the antivirus software when that info was retrieved shortly after a fresh install of the operating system.
- Fixed a problem where the macOS dialog to suggest an installation of Rosetta was not shown when trying to create installation media for a pure Intel operating system on a Mac with Apple Silicon where Rosetta had never been used before.
