Apple releases new software via macOS Software Update:

Apple Malware Removal Tool version 1.40 (Update Product ID: 041-41533)

The Apple Malware Removal Tool (MRT) is part of the built-in antivirus software of macOS.

The up-to-date definitions of malware that can be detected and removed by macOS can be made visible by any of our current TinkerTool System applications (TinkerTool System 4, TinkerTool System 5, TinkerTool System 6).

February 21, 2019:
We are releasing Battery Monitor version 3.0 through the Mac App Store:

Added new feature to get a simple overview of external batteries in selected Bluetooth Human Interface Devices. The current capacities and warning states can be listed in a window and will also appear in the menu of the menu-bar icon where available.
The history windows for total battery voltage and individual cell voltages are now separate. This makes sure the measured quantities are shown with optimal scales.

Battery Monitor is a powerful App to display the charge state of portable Macs in the Dock, to display internal battery information, to capture charge and discharge curves, to keep logs of the aging process of the battery, and to add notifications via Notification Center or speech output.

Safari Technology Preview allows users to get a sneak peek at upcoming web technologies in macOS and experiment with these technologies in websites and extensions.

Gatekeeper updates malware definitions for all Macintosh operating systems as of OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion and higher. It is part of the built-in antivirus software of macOS.

February 18, 2019:
We are releasing NFS Manager version 4.72.

This is a maintenance update which adds a workaround for a defect in macOS Mojave which can hang the operating system for 7 minutes if an application asks the operating system for the complete list of group accounts in a configuration with a network directory service. All user and group panels show only cached accounts now. The complete list of accounts can be retrieved on demand by clicking an extra button in the panels.

NFS Manager is an application to control the NFS features built into macOS via a comfortable graphical user interface.

February 12, 2019:
We are releasing TinkerTool System 6 version 6.2:

Added new diagnostics feature to retrieve the login time statistics from the operating system.
Total login time per user or usage time per day can be reviewed.
Added a workaround for a defect in macOS Mojave which can hang the operating system for 7 minutes if an application asks the operating system for the complete list of group accounts in a configuration with a network directory service. User guidance for the selection of destination volumes was enhanced when creating macOS install media.
Fixed a rare issue where the application showed the message “Interrupted system call” instead of the true error message when trying to delete specific files shielded by System Integrity Protection.

The re-release of macOS 10.14.3 provides important security fixes for the macOS Foundation framework, FaceTime group calls and FaceTime Live Photos.

BridgeOS is the secondary hardware management operating system running on the Apple T2 processors of the latest Macintosh model series.

Whitelist for Macintosh firmware security checks (“EFICheck AllowList”), version 37 (Update Product ID: 041-32249)

The EFICheck whitelist allows Macintosh systems to determine whether the firmware of the computer or of the Ethernet interface have been manipulated.

February 4, 2019:
We are releasing SystemLoad version 4.0.

SystemLoad now uses the standard design features of our software products, such as email feedback, link to its web site, or a custom About panel.
Manual and automatic update notification are now supported.
Full support by the Bresink Software Updater was added.
The distribution package now uses the latest Gatekeeper security features.

SystemLoad is a diagnostic application assisting you in the detection of cooling or power supply problems with Apple Macintosh computers. The tool can put a user-definable load onto one or more processors.

February 1, 2019:
We are releasing Sync Checker version 2.8.

Sync Checker takes into account new file flag features available in macOS Mojave and later.
The application will show more targeted error messages if licensing fails due to a misconfigured network firewall.
The distribution package now uses the latest Gatekeeper security features.

Sync Checker is a diagnostic application which can check if two folders or disks are perfectly synchronized.
