Release 10.0 (Build 260914)

• Added full support for macOS 27 Golden Gate. This is the minimum operating system version for TinkerTool System 10.
• The features to set mount options per volume have now moved to a separate pane. The user interface has been redesigned completely and now tries to prefer volume names over UUIDs when technically possible.
• Added new Info entries to show technical details about the Apple Neural Engine
• Added new Info entry to indicate the hypervisor-capabilities (Virtual Machine support) of the processor
• Added new Info entry to indicate the maximum number of address spaces for Virtual Machines
• Added new Info table to indicate L1 and L2 cache sizes for each core type
• Added new Info section to show the distribution of processor cores on clusters and chip dies
• Added new feature to determine the clock frequency range of each processor core
• Added support for the new network interface type for WiFi-Aware networking
• Added new feature to repair all metadata for the shared user folder, not only recreating a lost folder. This feature is always available, including demo mode.
• Added new option to control the SMB server lookup settings
• Added support for new Spotlight attributes
• Added new feature to show the history of updates installed by macOS
• The feature to reset the Launch Services database (previously supported by TinkerTool System when running macOS 14 or lower) has been reinstated. It now requires a system restart.
• Many other internal changes to support macOS 27
• The following features have been removed because they no longer make sense with macOS 27, or the necessary system components are no longer present in macOS Golden Gate:
  • Analyze Background Items
  • Show processor level 3 cache size
  • Clean up slow-motion screen savers
  • Set the system policy for selecting wireless networks
  • Change Common Unix Printing System settings
  • Change the SMB performance option for the maximum number of cached folders
  • Change the SMB performance option for the number of cached entries per folder
  • Set the system startup mode option
  • Use special OS variant for next operating system start
  • Set operating system performance options
  • Set operating system diagnostic options
  • Reset Launchpad to factory settings
