The I/O Bandwidths Window

To open the I/O bandwidths window, select the menu item Window > Show I/O Bandwidths or press the key combination ⌘ + 3.

The window indicates the current bandwidths for the sum of all disk-like devices and network connections. They represent the typical input/output elements of a computer in classic data processing.

Indicated are:

The program always uses the unit megabytes per second with three significant digits after the decimal point. Data transfer rates below 1 kilobyte per second are therefore not shown. Units according to the ISO 80000 standard are used, so 1 kB = 1,000 bytes.
