TinkerTool System 2Tasks: How can I regain access to a disk with a lock icon?

In some situations, one or more of your external disks may be shown with a lock icon and you no longer can write to the disks. TinkerTool System can help you to correct this. Perform the following steps:

  1. Open the pane System Issues.
  2. Select the tab item Locked Volumes.
  3. Press the button Unlock Locked Volumes.
